CarReels app

CarReels is a e-commerce mobile app that allows you to record and view cars in 3D submitted for VenusHacks 2022. It won in two categories. Winner in Best UI/UX Design and New Ways to Car Shop

I built this mobile app with a group of friends consisting of me, Kang Yu, and Phuoc Le. We were inspired by research statistics that showed that people were more inclined to consider buying a car when shown a 3D view of it. This led us to the idea of an e-commerce car store, in which both dealerships and regular consumers can post listings of their cars with easy viewing of the 3D vehicles in the main page.

I designed the logo, mockup, and wireframes of the app on Figma. After the design was finalized, I mainly worked on the UI for the "Add a Listing" page in Flutter.

I learned a lot from doing this hackathon with friends, especially communication. I worked in parallel with my team as many of the features we worked on interacted with each other.
